Papa Dan’s is a dough and pizza project from Chef Dan Britt. Dan has been passionate about pizza for as long as he can remember and has spent a career in the kitchen working towards opening his own pizza business.
After years as a Chef and Manager in some of Philadelphia’s favorite restaurants (Pizzeria Beddia, Suraya, Middle Child Clubhouse, Vetri Family), Dan’s resume also includes pizza consulting work with places like Sally Pizza + Wine, Liberty Kitchen, and Merzbacher’s bakery.
Dan is really excited to focus on his own food, and hopes to crank out some beautiful pan pizzas on Spring Garden this year. Papa Dan’s menu will draw inspiration from nostalgic pan pizza classics, and will also include rotating, original and creative combinations.
